October 2015. People connecting to the internet through a government server in Parque Fe del Valle, also known as “Wi-Fi square”, Havana, Cuba. Since the 1st of July 2015, the national telecommunications company, Etecsa, opened a few Wi-Fi access points in some public squares and hotels.
